RIP MY LIL LULU

May 19, 2002 - February 25, 2009
You came to CBRR with a list of medical issues, some of them easy to fix and some not so easy to fix. I got you medicated and clean within a few days and you were on the superficial mend. But those ears! I have never seen such infected and swollen ears in my life, your ears were sealed shut and oozing pus and yet they never seemed to bother you or hinder your shining personality. You took everything in stride and allowed me to do what needed to be done, I spent 7 months trying everything we could to fix your ears with no luck and was faced with a decision to surgically fix your ears or not. The pro's out-weighed the con's and you were finally going to be pain free as I thought it best for your over-all health and future well being to have ear ablations done, little did I know.
You brought so much joy to my life and made me smile more than you will ever know, your non-stop butt wiggles, your love of good food, the way you carried your sherpa tug around so you could suck on it and nap, and let's not forget the way you snored like an industrial wood chipper (something I will truly miss). I nick named you Turbo because you never did anything fast, everything was at your speed and you didn't care. You loved going to the store (work) every day and soaking up all the love and attention you got from the customers and you shined for everyone who paid attention to you (which was everyone) as you were just irresistible to anyone that layed eyes on you, you touched many lives.
I am so very sorry that you died at something I was doing to make your life better, it just isn't fair. I know that your last 7 months here with me were your best and I am privileged to have had you in my life, while you may be gone you will never be forgotten lil one, you will soon be back at home with me here to rest in peace, comfort and style which is what you deserve.

Run Turbo Run to the Rainbow Bridge! You take care and I will see you again some day.

Love you always,
Kodie

Lulu,
What a beautiful little girl you were. A sweet face that melted my heart the moment I saw it. Apparently, another bullie angel was needed in heaven. I know your foster family loved you dearly and will miss you very much.

You are in a good place now, with no more pain. There will be lots of love, food, toys and other dogs to play with. You will be missed.
